Like so many Creative Directors, I earned my degree in…screenwriting?
Sure, just go with it. Actually, it informs everything I do, and taught me so much about how to tell a story. How to develop distinct voices. How to lead people to where you want them to go. How to create something that’s never been done.
Fast forward a decade or two (it’s two), and I’m still working on finding the next Great Idea, and finding the next brand where I can tell a remarkable story.
As a creative leader, I’m interested in building worlds and surprising customers. My mission is to never imitate or settle, but rather to define (and then re-define) what it means to be best-in-class in a forever-changing landscape. I know there’s always a better word, design or idea that’s just out of reach. I challenge myself and the creatives I lead to find it, develop it, and turn it into something that can drive the business and inspire every customer.
When I’m not mixing pixels and prose, you can find me running, eating, moviegoing and trying to ween myself off Diet Coke. It’s not going well.
